He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil F. Brown and Viola Brown; his sons, Scott Brown and Edward Morris; his brothers, Floyd Brown and Marshall Brown; and his nephews, Robert Brown and William Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Ella Ruth Brown of Cleburne; his children, Jeanie Kerns (Mike Kerns (Cleburne)), Crystal Sparkman (Godley) and Frederick M. Brown of Blue Springs, MO; his sisters, Joyce Brown of Elizabeth City, NC and Loretta Brown of Kansas City, MO; and his siblings-in-law, George Williams (Darlene (Jacksboro), Nell Bailey of Van Alstyne, TX and LeeAnna Brown of Lake Worth, TX. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home (512 N Ridgeway Dr, Cleburne, TX 76033). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home Chapel (512 N Ridgeway Dr, Cleburne, TX 76033).
