She was predeceased by: her parents, John Garrett and Pauline Garrett (Smith); her husband Melvin Lee Parnell; and her siblings, Mary Lackey (Garrett) and Charles Wesley Garrett.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Parnell (Tina) of Cleburne and Christina Williams (Richard) of Cleburne; and her grandchildren, Ryan Parnell of Cleburne, Jeremy Williams of Royce City and Rachel Parnell of Cleburne. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
