She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin Briar and Ella Lee Morris Layland; her husband Frederick "Fred" Lloyd Hadley; her son Jeff Hadley; and her brother Bill Layland.
She is survived by: her son Rick; her daughters-in-law, Veronica Hadley and Amberly Hadley; her grandchildren, Amanda Ellis (William), Kristen Hadley and Boston; and her pet Miss Priss. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In 1999 she was awarded as an honoree in the Wall of Fame of the Cleburne Chamber of Commerce in recognition for her countless contributions to the community.
