He was predeceased by: his parents, W. T. Lain and Susie Pearl Lain (Hurt); his wife Lynda Lain; his son-in-law Farrell Barrett; and his brothers, Albert Lain, Lewis Lain, Raymond Lain and Hubert Lain.
He is survived by: his daughter Tonja Barrett (Chris Humphries); his grandson Michael "BJ" Barrett (Alyssa); his great grandchildren, Lilliana and Sophia Barrett; and his siblings, Juanita Evans, Anita Irwin and Tommy Lain. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
