He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Herzig and Elizabeth Herzig. He is survived by: his wife Gail Herzig; his daughter Blair Herzig; his grandchildren, Ransom Dunson, Ryan Herzig and Piper Herzig; his siblings, Billy Herzig, Paula Stateston and Harriette Turner; and his sibling-in-law Charlie.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cornerstone Methodist Church (111 Meadow View Dr, Cleburne, TX 76033).
