He is survived by: his significant other Carolyn Russell; his children, Kyle Birdwell (Kortney), Chris Birdwell and Jennifer Kerr (James); his grandchildren, Bayleigh Kerr, Hunter Kerr, Breanna Birdwell and Eddie Tilden Birdwell; and his siblings, Wade Birdwell, Carolyn Buckner and Ginny McNichol.
