She was predeceased by: her parents, H. Virgil Burgess and Katie Mae Carlock Burgess; her husband Marshall T. Stepp; her children, Marsha Rynd, Rickey and Nickey Stepp; and her siblings, Leon Burgess, Donald Ray Burgess, Virgil Johnson and Jannelle Johnson.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Nathan Stepp, Marshall Stepp, Michael Stepp, Makenna Stepp, Anna Stepp Roe, Katie Stepp Cunningham and Ryan Stepp; and her daughter-in-law Brenda Stepp. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home (512 N Ridgeway Dr, Cleburne, TX 76033). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Greenacres Memorial Park (3201 N Main St, Cleburne, TX 76033).
