She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Alex Mathews and Alice Viola Martin Mathews; and her siblings, Charlie Mathews, Royger Farris and Jane Morvant.
She is survived by: her children, Denean Johnson (Johnny), Donna Gambill (Vernon), Derve Lee Simmons, David Simmons (Renee) and Joe Travis Charles Simmons (Christina); and her siblings, Richard Farris, Roger Farris, Jeanette Jones and Jean Farris. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
