She was predeceased by: her former husband Rees Smart; her son Kevin Smart; and her parents, C. E. Williamson and Ruby Williamson. She is survived by: her son Richard Smart (Denise Ware); and her grandchildren, Christopher Smart (Pamela), Amber Taylor (Tosh), Tabitha Lindsey (John), Richard Catter (Andrea), Heather Smart and Samantha Smart. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of extended family members and friends.
