He was predeceased by: his father David Nelson; and his daughter Faith Reagan Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Basilia Nelson (Reyes) of Cleveland; his sons, John David Samuel Nelson of Cleveland and Jacob Daniel Nelson of Cleveland; and his mother Lois Shellenburger (Chamblis).
