He is survived by: his wife Mary Whitmire; his daughter Alana Whitmire Carrell (Cecil); and his siblings, Doug Whitmire (Mary Lou), Charles Whitmire (Robin) and Joni Morton. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a host of dear friends.
