She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Ellis and Corine Ellis; her husband Judge Burl P. Thomas; her sons, Randy Guynes and Roger A. Guynes; her granddaughter Jenna Brooke Nicholson; her son-in-law Roger Lakey; and her siblings, Ann, Bobby, Lonnie and Gary.

She is survived by: her children, Lisa Nicholson, Pat McLennan, Cheryl Ialacci (Wesley) and Rhonda Nicholson; her grandchildren, Cody Nicholson, Abbey Hebert, Hunter Hott (Veronica), Channing Solomon (Matt), Caleb Nicholson (Jessica), Roger E. Guynes (Kaleb), Michael Guynes (Tiffany), Kirby Kneale (Colton) and Guy Nicholson; her great grandchildren, Cannon, Bristol Nicholson, Hunter II, Cooper Hott, Parker, Reid Solomon, Carson, Stella Nicholson, Maddox, Judson Guynes, Blayton, Bowan Guynes, Connor Kneale and Eli Nicholson; and her siblings, Shirley, Debbie, Peggy, Alvie, Billy Joe and Kenneth.
