He is survived by: his brother Vernon Jr. Some of Joel's; his children, Alan (Caitlyn), Amy (Justin), Chris (Allison) and Joel (Brittany); his grandchildren, Isabella, Raine, Rosalie, Lorelai, Avery, Hunter, Amelia, Adaline, Edward, Evan, Elena, Elise, Stash, Ridge and Pierce; his sisters, Gail (Bob) and Karen; and his stepbrother Gary (Billie).
A memorial service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Clifton (106 S Avenue G, Clifton, TX 76644).
