With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eileen Day of Clifton, Texas, born in Los Angeles, California, who passed away on January 5, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Cecil Polsley and Florence Polsley; her husband Norman E. Day (Rusty); her daughter Carrie Eileen Oberle; her siblings, Ruth Johnson, Naomi Fisher and Cecil L.; and her nephews, David Fisher and Patrick Johnson.
She is survived by : her children, Michael Norman Day (Karen) of Henderson and Colleen Bocanegra (William) of Decatur; her son-in-law Jack Oberle of San Antonio; her grandchildren, Troy Day (Kathy) of Lake Jackson, TX, Paul Day (Andrea) of Marshall, Sophie Cornman (Scott) of Keller, TX, Sarah Erwin of Denton, Elise Thomas (Ryan) of Decatur, TX, Katie Parrish (Josh) of Wichita Falls and Nicholas Oberle (Rachel) of Austin; her great grandchildren, Alayna Erwin, William, Charlie, Maxwell Cornman, Jane, Eleanor Thomas, Juli, Jamin, Harper, Weston and Sawyer Day; her nieces and nephews, Ellen, Kathleen, Jennifer, Barbara, Eric and Laurie Brady (Stephen) of Katie, TX.; her great-niece Whitney Brady of Houston; and her friends, Mary Bergman and Iris Clark of Clifton. She is also survived by many friends and family.
