She is survived by: her husband Margarito Mendez; her children, Rene Ramos Rosemary Escalante (Claudia Sandoval), Julie Ortiz (Raul Ortiz Jr.) and Eligio Ramos (Vanessa Ramos); and her great grandchildren, Rene Escalante, Adrian Escalante, Cornelio Sanchez III, Cesar Esquivel, Rene V. Ramos, AJ Ramos and Christian Robinson. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stroud Funeral Home (538 Brazosport Blvd N, Clute, TX 77531). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
