She was predeceased by: her parents, John Curtis (Margaret Evelyn Kelley) and Margaret Kelley; and her son Jed Allen Rice. She is survived by: her husband John Clark Rice Sr.; her son John Rice Jr. (Lacy) of Jones Creek, Texas; and her grandchildren, Kirsten Rice of Houston, Texas and Cole Ewald (Kayla) of Richwood, Texas.. She is also survived by her extended family and many dear friends.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Stroud Funeral Home (538 Brazosport Blvd N, Clute, TX 77511).
