He is survived by: his daughter Kathaleen Smith (Jeff) of Austin, TX; and his grandchildren, Dillon Smith (Callen) of Chattanooga, TN and Kristen Smith of Austin, TX. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the West Texas Rehabilitation Center or Disability Resources, Inc.
