Doug will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Though Doug is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Doug’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Ford and Lottie Hix Ford; his wife Ann Cochran; and his son Kyle. He is survived by: his daughter Kathaleen Smith (Jeff) of Austin, TX; and his grandchildren, Dillon Smith (Callen) of Chattanooga, TN and Kristen Smith of Austin, TX. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the West Texas Rehabilitation Center or Disability Resources, Inc.
