He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred John Henry and Minnie Ladora Rabe (Tarver); his wife Wilma Chapele; his children, Tom and Jean; and his siblings, Alfred and Marcella.
He is survived by: his children, John Rabe (Renae) of Grove, Oklahoma, Mary Marcus (David) of Tulsa, Kay Bailey (Ken) of Clyde and Diane of Kansas City, Kansas. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; many great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
