With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sheryl Lynne Nelms-Pennington (Clyde, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 10, 2025 at the age of 80. She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Nelms and Edwin Nelms (Margaret Nelms); and her nephew Matthew Nelms. She is survived by: her husband Danny C. Pennington; her brother Eugene E. Nelms; her children, Julie L. Hartmann (Paul), Ben E. Baker (Michelle) and David A. Baker (Jamie); her stepchildren, Dana Miller (Tim), Sonya Roemisch and Jonathan Pennington; her grandchildren, Crystal Espinosa (Kerrington), Joe Hartmann (Kennedy), Ben Hartmann, Tanner Miller (Hope), Louis Hartmann, Josh Baker, Zach Baker, Alena Gipson (Austin), Megan Miller, Destiny Miller, Garner Baker, Preston Powell and Phylicia Faur (Mark); and her great grandchildren, Emerson Hartmann, Theodore Espinosa, Ellie Espinosa, John Faur and Lucy Faur.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bailey-Howard Funeral Home Chapel (105 Oak St, Clyde, TX 79510).
