He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Judi Stone; his mother Lucille Stone; his brothers, Joe Bill Stone, Jr. and Robert E. Stone; his children, Lena Rusch (Justin), Kahler Wayne Stone (Katy), Dusty Stone (Sarah), Maggie Stone and Will Stone; his grandchildren, Jewel, Summer, Cole, Jude, Chris, Titus Wayne, Bekah and Emma; and his father Joe Bill Stone, Sr.. He was also cherished by his wife, being a friend and spiritual leader to his children.

In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted for One27 Ministries to finish ongoing projects in East Central Africa and honor Wayne's legacy of love and care for widows and orphans.
