With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Zane Ray Bone of College Station, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 16, 2025 at the age of 51. As we bid Zane farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Zane is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his mother Marilyn Bone; and his grandparents, Vernon, Mary Faris and Pat Bone. He is survived by: his father Bobby Bone; his daughters, Kendall Bone and Lainey Bone; his sister Amanda Daly (Reid); his nieces, Kinzley and Kasadee; and his grandmother Henrietta Bone.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Scott's Funeral Home (2425 E Main St, Gatesville, TX 76528). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Davidson Cemetery.
