He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Herchek and Lillian Herchek (Friedel); his siblings, Milam Herchek and Mary Ann La Blanc; and his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Herchek, Justine Rolirad, Virgie Drabek, John Dickinson, L. J. Vacek and Probe La Blanc.
He is survived by: his wife Annie Drabek of Schulenburg; his sons, Billy Herchek (Beth), Travis Herchek and Robert Herchek; and his grandchildren, Emily Herchek, Evan Herchek and Lillian Herchek. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
