With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Charles David Herchek of Columbus, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Herchek and Lillian Herchek (Friedel); his siblings, Milam Herchek and Mary Ann La Blanc; and his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Herchek, Justine Rolirad, Virgie Drabek, John Dickinson, L. J. Vacek and Probe La Blanc.
He is survived by: his wife Annie Drabek of Schulenburg; his sons, Billy Herchek (Beth), Travis Herchek and Robert Herchek; and his grandchildren, Emily Herchek, Evan Herchek and Lillian Herchek. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A rosary was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Henneke Funeral Home (1515 Montezuma St, Columbus, TX 78934). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony Catholic Church (1602 Bowie St, Columbus, TX 78934).
