With sadness, we share the passing of Fay Evans (Columbus, Texas). Fay, born on May 18, 1926 in Fordtran, Texas, passed away on September 12, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hart and Geneva Hollan (Eva); her husband Arthur Newton Evans, Jr. of Columbus; and her son James Newton (Jim). She is survived by: her children, William Arthur Evans (Charles Hazlegrove) of Houston and Amy Louise Othold (Reginald) of Shiner, Texas; her grandsons, Jordan Othold (Ann Marie) and Justin Othold of Shiner, Texas; and her great grandchildren, Joy, Jackie Beaver, Blaze Othold, Finnley, Sofia and Carter Othold of Shiner, Texas.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (1229 Milam St, Columbus, TX 78934).
