With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harold W. Smith (Columbus, Texas), born in West Frankfort, Illinois, who passed away on January 9, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Earl G. Smith and Ruth Williams Smith; his son Mike Smith; and his stepgrandson Kirby Adams. He is survived by : his wife Ann; his children, Debbie Perkins (Ralph) and Dan Smith (Lisa); his sister Joyce Flannery; his stepsons, DeGraaf Adams and Will Adams; his grandsons, Scott Perkins, Michael Smith and Samuel Smith; and his nephews, Christopher Smith, Randy Smith and Bryan Smith. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 367, Columbus, Texas 78934.
