It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ignac Jerome Orsak (Columbus, Texas), who passed away on March 1, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edith Orsak (Vasek) and Ike Orsak; and his grandparents, Caroline, Louis Vasek, Julie and William Orsak.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Orsak; his daughters, Jan Orsak (Fred Everson) and Karen (Wayne Peschel); his grandchildren, JW Evans (CeCe), Mavrick Evans (Valerie), Jordan Evans (Trevor Smith), Jesse Evans, Rebecca Haney (Aaron), Kyle Peschel (Avery Oliver) and Carson Peschel (Catherine Sampey); his great grandchildren, Davina Evans, Charley Evans, Cooper Evans, Carina Evans, Kasyn Evans, Wrenlee Smith, Thomas Evans and Berkley Haney; his sister Angie Orsak Pavlicek (Steve); and his pet Bandit. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
