Betty Jean Sledge Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on January 26, 2021, at the age of 89, Betty Jean Sledge of Comanche, Texas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Jean Sledge to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilburn Lee Henson and Bessie McKinsey Hessen; her husband Vaden Earl Sledge; her children, James Sledge and Sherry Beth Sledge; and her siblings, J. N., Alma, Mozelle, Beaulah, Thelma, Ed, Oscar and Oliver.

She is survived by: her children, A. W. Sledge (Lisa) and Kathy Royall (Eric); her grandchildren, Casey Sledge (Meagan), Ethan Royall (Carsey), Emilie Royall and Cristy Sledge; and her sisters, Sue Richardson and Nita Johnson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

If desired, memorial contributions may be made the Llano Community Center at PO Box 536, Llano, Texas 78643 or to Alpha Omega Hospice, in memory of Jean. *Due to the current Comanche County COVID-19 regulations on group gatherings, we kindly ask that any friends planning to attend Jean's graveside service respectfully stand at least 20 feet from the tent.
