She was predeceased by: her parents, James Clifford "Pete" and Ennie Price Matthews; her parents-in-law, Vestal and Iun Day; and her siblings-in-law, Gary Hamrick, Darwin Hamrick, Tom Loftin and Glynda Lane.
She is survived by: her husband Travis Day; her children, Stephanie Lewis (Jeff), Dana Oskins (Jeremy) and Jason Day (Jennifer); her siblings, Tommy Matthews (Barbara), Verba Hamrick and Linda Thompson (Jamie); her siblings-in-law, Jimmy Lane, Katherine Loftin, Mark "W. M." Day (Lexi) and Carolyn Hamrick; her grandchildren, Holly, Haily, Heidi, Victoria, Kayden and Strait; and her great grandchildren, Lynnleigh, Livvy, Ella, Oaklyn of Olivia, JJ and Nolan.
The family requests donations be made to The Parkinson's Foundation in Edith's memory.
