He is survived by: his wife Lou Evelyn Mitchell; his daughter Kathy Ballard (David); and his siblings, Vernell Purcell, Sue Hudson (Charles), Traci Huxford (Bruce) and James (Cheryl). He is also survived by six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
