It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Patsy Gail Phifer of Comanche, Texas, who passed away on November 2, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As Patsy departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Patsy. Though Patsy may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie M. Smith and Helen Smith (Watts); her brother-in-law Terry Goodwin; and her close friend Pete Boutross. She is survived by: her daughter Kimberly Creek (Jamey); her sister Sadie Goodwin; and her granddaughter Rylee Creek. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Hamil Family Funeral Home (6449 Buffalo Gap Rd, Abilene, TX 79606). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church - Buffalo Gap (1002 Litel St, Buffalo Gap, TX 79508). A burial was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Buffalo Gap Cemetery (3226 FM 89, Tuscola, TX 79562).
Memorials made be made to American Cancer Society or to Comanche Co. Volunteer Fire Department or Buffalo Gap Volunteer Fire Department.
