With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Sid Clayton Jr. of Comanche, Texas, born in Galveston, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Sid left this world on November 15, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sydney Clayton, Sr. and Eunice Theiler Clayton; and his siblings, Jack Clayton, Lydia Prater and Patsy Crouch.
He is survived by: his pet Finley; his daughters, Sharon Maxwell and Donna Norris; his children-in-law, Jimmy Wilbourn, Bryan Touchstone and Tina Knight; and his grandchildren, Michael Norris (Jessica), Jillian Norris Glasgow (Adam), Dean Abbey (Courtney), Steven Abbey (Jennifer), Jeffrey Abbey (Kendall) and Westin Abbey. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested all donations be sent to the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and the Comanche All Pets Alive (CAPA).
