Barri Murphy wrote a sympathy message

“Clint was the gold-standard. I would've married that man. He holds the distinction in my life of being one of the Very Few who liked me for my true self. He helped people selflessly. He deserves a statue. When I struggled, he helped mentally and spiritually, and presented me with a wonderful rare Stevie Vaughan poster as encouragement. He inspired me to become a teacher. Clint is irreplaceable. I will miss him for the rest of my life.”

“Birdwell~ You brought so much joy and laughter to all who knew you. I am grateful that I got to know you through George and enjoyed the few times I was in your presence. Thank you for being so kind and generous to Noah (who is so sad you are gone too) and for always being such a good friend to George. We love you and miss you. But, I rejoice that you are no longer suffering. Fly high Bird.”

Gigi Benno wrote a sympathy message

“Clint spent a big part of the early 80's in our musical community. He helped my former husband and I pack up and move to North Hollywood. We loaded the moving van, hitched up the bathtub Porsche and off we went. We were about 3 miles from the house when we saw black smoke coming from the back of the van. Low and behold the fellas had forgot to put the car in nuetral so we now had a engine in a lot of trouble. Left the car in Wichita Falls. Later repaired. 1 of many stories. Loved him!”
