With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fern York of Combine, Texas, born in Euless, Texas, who passed away on March 16, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Herbert Finley and Elsie Knight Finley; her husband Melvin L. York; and her sons, Joe York and Ricky York.

She is survived by : her children, Tex (Sherry York), Rocky (Margaret York), Victor York and Sherita Oldfield; her sister Pat Brown of Edgewood, TX; her grandchildren, Michele Cook, Amy McFadden, Dustin York, Kara York, Ashley Kinder, Beau York and Jared York; and her great grandchildren, Ty, Taya, Jak, Jentry, Colin, Jeremiah, Emma, Mia, Brooklyn Raycee, Dawson, Hayes and Harley.
