He was predeceased by : his parents, Joe L. Blagburn and Margaret Blagburn (Rohus); and his siblings, Etta Ruth Dunlap, Beulah Dunlap, Ray Blagburn, Jake Blagburn and Lazelle Blagburn.

He is survived by : his wife Opal Marie Blagburn; his children, Ken Blagburn, Eugene Williams and Lorane Killingsworth; his brothers, Eugene Blagburn and David Blagburn; his grandchildren, Ricky Blagburn, Ashley Scheele, Marissa Blagburn and Brianna Garwitz; and his great grandchildren, Kennidi Blagburn, Aurilynn Blagburn and Lyla Garwitz.
