He was predeceased by: his former wife Catherine N. Corcoran; and his parents, Eugene F. Corcoran, Sr. and Ann Clare McNulty Corcoran (Nancy). He is survived by: his sons, Michel Newkirk Corcoran and Zach; his wife Mary-Carol Rust of Comfort, TX; his sons, Peter Joseph Corcoran III of Texarkana, TX and Michael Newkirk Corcoran of Coral Springs, FL; and his grandchildren, Peter Joseph Corcoran IV (Drew), Raney Corcoran, Aiden Corcoran, Rowan Corcoran, Paul, Joel Osteen and Miguel Gonzales. He is also survived by his Great Grandchildren.
