Yolanda Ahner Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Yolanda Ahner of Comfort, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 10, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvaro Chavez and Sara Chavez; her sister Sylvia White; her husband Jim Ahner; her brother-in-law Neal Maverick Weaver; and her granddaughter Samantha Sitters Wagner.
She is survived by: her children, Sylvia Sitters and Joseph Sitters; her sister Ida Chavez Weaver; her nieces and nephews, Neal, Jana Weaver, Michelle and Daniel Taylor; and her stepchildren, Brenda, Jeff Weldon, JoAnn, Ruben Rios, Jan and Ted Castillo. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great nieces and nephews.
