She was predeceased by: her parents, John Freebairn and Edith Freebairn (Offergeld); her husband Frank Stachowiak; her brothers, Wes Freebairn (Naomi), Tom Freebairn (June), Don Freebairn (Lucretia) and Orville Freebairn; and her son-in-law Joe Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Smith, Dick Stachowiak (Mina), David Stachowiak, Bob Stachowiak (Dixie) and Dan Stachowiak (Jeanette); her grandchildren, Becky Smith, Emily Call (Justin), Sarah Stachowiak (Tyler Hill), Tim Stachowiak (Jeanne), Brent Turman (Liz), Bella Stachowiak, Zach Stachowiak, Cody Stachowiak and Cayson Stachowiak; and her great grandchildren, Augustus Call, Rowan Call, Chloe Call, Molly Call, Stella Hill-Stach, Otto Hill-Stach, Peter Stachowiak, Andrew Stachowiak, Briggs Turman, Eli Turman and Naomi Turman.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or the Northeast Texas Children's Museum, both located in Commerce, Texas.
