He was predeceased by: his father Raymond H. Deaton; and his grandparents, John, Ruby Deaton, Floyd and Eveline Lowe.
He is survived by: his mother Melba Lowe Deaton; his wife Cathy; his sons, Brian McWhirter (Lea), Bart Deaton and Stacy; his grandchildren, Jayla (Colton), Gage, Katelyn, Brooklyn, Gentry, Rhynn and Chandler; his great grandchildren, Colter, Cayson and Callen; his siblings, Cathy Deaton Sumrow and Bobby Deaton (Kym); his daughter-in-law Charlie Conway (Tom); and his friend Tim Simmons. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Cross Trails Cowboy Church (4761 FM1563, Wolfe City, TX 75496).
