He was predeceased by : his parents, Victor Paul Melton and Constance Jeanne Melton (Nimrod); his brothers, Billy and Roger; and his stepbrother Sonny.
He is survived by : his wife Bettye Jean Ford; his daughter Jenny Horn (Kenneth); and his grandchildren, Kevin Horn, Colle Petty, Ashton Petty, Dylan Melton, Kayden Horn, Kaleb Horn, Kage Horn and Jaxon Ulich.
