He was predeceased by : his parents, E. L. Johnson and Martha Johnson; and his sister Alice "Bunny" Procter. He is survived by : his wife Sherry Johnson; his children, Amy L. Johnson and E. L. Johnson, III (Paige); his grandchildren, E. L. Johnson IV (Roby) and Emmy Johnson; his nephew Rick Marek (Frieda); his niece Martha Marek (Mark Underkofler); and his cousin Nancy Nichols Smith.
