We announce the death of Arline Helen Smith (Conroe, Texas), born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on September 17, 2026, at the age of 83. Arline will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband James; her grandmother Edith Coggins; her parents, Edith Baumgarth and Leonard Baumgarth; and her brothers, Michael Baumgarth and Steven Baumgarth.
She is survived by: her stepdaughters, Rebecca Kennedy (Kevin), Loretta Fanning (Jeff), Teressa Voltz (Morris) and Jennifer Hooper; her grandchildren, Amy Dick (Michael), Sarah Hosey (Nathan), Jessica Voltz, Chelsea Hill (Kory), Jacob Voltz (Hailee), Jade Hooper and Lia Hooper; her great grandchildren, Kennedy Dick, Kent Dick, Coleson Dick, Katelyn Hosey, Aurora Voltz and Lilah Voltz; and her nieces, Pamela Graham, Michelle Jones, Hanna Marquis and Rachael Brenner.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Metcalf Funeral Directors (1801 E White Oak Terrace, Conroe, TX 77304).
