She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Dampier and Louise Dampier; her husband Charles "Humby" LaCarter; her sister Charlotte; her brother-in-law Johnnie Spurlock; her granddaughter Ainsley Elizabeth LaCarter; her great grandchild Makhi Jordan Arnsworth; her niece Amy Henderson; and her great-nephew Allen Clouse.
She is survived by: her children, Ronda LaCarter, Renee Stone (Ralph) and Roger LaCarter (Melissa); her siblings, Raynette Dampier Stanley (Donald), Harley Dampier and Linda Dampier Mendez (Gil); her grandchildren, Cari (Jason), Kasey (Edward), Courtney (Karla), Nakia, Trey (Juanita), Jesika (Jerome), Erika (London), Ashlyn (Marty) and Jillian; and her great grandchildren, Harper, Sage, Tamya, Rickey, Damian, Zoey, Jerimiah, Jayda, Kameron, Exavier, Kyro and Alexander.
Though Alzheimer's is a terrible disease that ultimately took Barbra from us, her family finds comfort in knowing it could not take away her accomplishments, our shared memories, or her connection to God's love.
