She was predeceased by: her parents, John F. Brezina and Helen M. Brezina (Kuciemba); her husband Timothy Sean Sykes; her in-laws, Dr. Walter P. and Betty Sykes; her siblings-in-law, Michael Sykes and Sue Sykes; her niece Kathryn Sykes; her nephew Christian Sykes; and her great-niece Isabella Kubiak.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin Sykes (Marissa Cook), Starbuck Sykes (Mary Beth) and Aloysius Sykes; her grandchildren, Orion Sykes, Mylo Sykes and Ezra Savage; her sisters, Georgia Dooley (Jimmy), Birdie Kubiak (Dennis) and Rhonda Lynch (Rance); and her siblings-in-law, Anne Hillin (Nestor), Pat Sykes (Laurie) and Miles Sykes (Madlyn). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
