He was predeceased by: his parents, Myrtle Rose Shippey and Norris Perry Shippey; and his siblings, Leland Shippey, Marvin Shippey, Claude Shippey, Sonny Shippey and Mary Hammers.
He is survived by: his wife DiAnne Shippey of Conroe; his children, Bryan Shippey (Amy Shippey) of Houston and Celeste Dawn Shippey Anderson of Winter Haven, Florida; his granddaughters, Amanda Dawn Seese of Blaine and Tabitha Anne Willis of Plymouth, Minnesota; and his great grandchildren, Graham, Darian, Leon, Alexander, Emerson and Katarina.
