He was predeceased by: his mother Nola Jane Burdeshaw Hidle; his son Howard Hidle; his father Caleb Clarence Hidle; and his sister Barbra Hidle Strickland. He is survived by: his wife Martha Lou Allen; his son Rex Hidle (Debra); his granddaughters, Madison Hidle and Alexandra Hidle; his siblings, Martha Webb, Charles Hidle, Harold Hidle and Mary Little; his brother-in-law Bill Strickland; and also Billie Sue Allen (Robert "Bob" Vick).

Memorials: Flowers and plants are appreciated; donations are also a meaningful and welcomed gesture.
