She was predeceased by: her parents, Baxter Mitchell and Edra Mitchell; her husband James Sylvan Burnett; her son Tommy Joe Butner; and her brothers, Carlos and Terry Mitchell.

She is survived by: her daughter Toni Hart; her grandchildren, Dustie Baker (Jordan), Sean Andrews and Brandon Andrews (Cynthia); and her great grandchildren, Immanuel, Michael Andrews, Legend, Tayce and Bryar Baker.
