He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Ward and Lahoma Donaldson Ward; and his brother Johnny Morris. He is survived by: his wife Beth Pierce Ward; his children, Charlya Elizabeth Ward and Charles "David" Ward; his siblings, Bernice Harris (Tommy), Kathy Battenfield (Ron), Ed Ward (Michael Martin) and Allen Goolsby (Andea); his grandchildren, Braeden Silver, Michael Ward and John Ward; and his great grandchildren, Elisa Ward and Ezra Ward. He is also survived by other family members and many friends.
