She was predeceased by: her parents, Minnie Haines and Claude Haines; her husband Pete Carter; and her siblings, Lucille, Claudine, Fairrel, Oscar, Freddy and William.
She is survived by: her brothers, Roland Haines (Doris) and Butch Haines (Jan); her children, Sherry McShan (Kevin), Brad Carter (Debby) and Carl Carter (Laura); and her grandchildren, Stephen Carter (Sofia), Kayleigh Pursley (Joey), Amanda McShan, Justin McShan, Stefanie Hall (Nathan), Brittany Carter (Jessie) and Cody Carter (Kortney). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
