She was predeceased by: her parents, Grace Mae Phillips and Clarence Wesley Wilkins; her husband Leroy Small; her sons, David Henry Small and Thomas Michael Small; and her brother Ronald Wesley Wilkins.

She is survived by: her sons, Douglas Wilkins Small and Richard LeRoy Small of Houston, Texas; her grandchildren, Jason Douglas Small (Danna Small) and Grace Meredith Parnell (Harris Parnell); her sister-in-law Carolyn Wilkins of Little Rock, Arkansas; her daughter-in-law Catherine Small of Washington, D. C; and her nieces and nephews, Phillip Wilkins, Leslie Wilkins White and Nancy Wilkins Benham. She is also survived by great-grandchildren; and many other relatives.
