He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Frances Gabbard (Sears) and John Curtis Gabbard; his brother Thomas Hardy Gabbard; and his wife Joanne. He is survived by: his brother William Dudley Gabbard; his children, Daniel C. Gabbard (Rose) and Suzanne J. Crouch (Art); his grandchildren, Micah W. Crouch (Emily), Deanna Gabbard, Kari Crouch, Ryan Gabbard (Cheyenne) and Amelia Farley (William); and his great grandchildren, Jonathan Vanderburg, Abigail Vanderburg, Ryan Gabbard, Nathaniel Gabbard and Emma Gabbard.
