With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Byron Goodrich of Conroe, Texas, born in Austin, Texas, who passed away on September 7, 2022 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father Ira M. Goodrich; his brothers, Mike and Jeff; and his son Sam. He is survived by : his pets, Bella and Molly; his wife Susan Goodrich (Wunschel); his daughter Bethany Frankenberger (Goodrich); his son-in-law Tyler; and his mother Ernestine Goodrich of Austin.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations and contributions be made to the Veteran's Treatment Court of Montgomery County and Boy Scouts of America in David's honor.

“David was a high school friend of mine, sharing time in the band and on the track. I will always regret having lost touch with him, though our paths occasionally crossed, and I am saddened to learn that he has passed. David was among the most gentle, kind-hearted people I have ever known. My mother was one of David’s school teachers who occasionally said “why can’t all the kids be more like David Goodrich?” My life has been richer for having known him. I’m very sorry for your loss.”
